Even though I wasn’t with MLS-SM at the beginning of the Active Early study, I did attend the first informational meeting. This was an opportunity to receive $5000 in grant money if your school was chosen as a pilot site. The current director of MLS-SM and I wanted to be a part of that for our schools.
